INSTALLATION GUIDE
Step 1
Remove old cover plate from wall:
Ensure there is no paint stuck to it first.
Timber Plates are designed to sit on a covered electrical outlet that has been installed by an electrician and should NEVER have contact with any electrical wiring.
If electrical wires are exposed, DO NOT apply the Timber Plates to an outlet and contact a qualified electrician immediately.
Step 2
Installing new plate:
[A] Hold Timber Plate by the sides and arrange plate into the proper orientation so that all holes line up with switches and outlets on the grid.
[B] Place Timber plate onto the switch or outlet and apply pressure on the corners. NOT the centre of plate! Sometimes you'll hear it click into place.
[C] Once all corners are flush with the wall, you can gently ease the centre of the plate down onto the grid as sometimes the holes get caught up on the ridges of the switches or outlets.
The fit should be firm and secure, and the holes should not obstruct the operation of the switches, or any plugs used in the outlets.
Step 3
Plates can be wiped down with clean cloths Enjoy!
